Review: Marine Mania

OK, I got Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania yesterday.
As some of you know, it also include Dino Digs, but I had that already.

Marine Mania adds alot of the same goodness that makes Zoo Tycoon so addictive. Over 20 new animals, as the ad says, including sharks, moray eels, Walruses, A Huge Jellyfish, Seals, various sharks, a couple of whales (Humpback, Sperm, I haven't seen Blue Whale yet, but he might be under endangered species) and, I kid you not, Tuna.

Of the new species, 5 of them are "Stars of the Show" who can put up shows: The Orca, Bottlenose Dolphin, California Sea Lion, Sea Otter and Great White Shark. You need to build them a show tank and then they can perform tricks for your sims (This being worth it for you as you charge to get into the grandstands)

There are, of course, the prerequisite new shops (a popcorn stall, crushed ice, frozen yogurt and a submarine shop), a new family bathroom, a new set of water AND desert themed decorations. New houses such as the aquarium, shark tunnel and crustacean building and new things for your kids to do including boat hire and swimming with dolphins.

All in all, it's worth the money, especially if you haven't gotten Dino Digs yet.

What annoys me, however, is the lack of Strategy Guide. They've added 40-50 new creatures between the two expansion sets and I still don't know how big an exhibit they need. (Note, there are some strategy guides for the dinosaurs, such as Iriri's Dino Digs Guide. Perhaps Miss Iriri will get the expansion set soon and get us guides for the new creatures.
